Steelman Writes Resource Policy Book

Dr. Toddi A. Steelman’s latest book focuses on the difficulty of making lasting innovations in the way natural resources are managed.

Steelman, an associate professor in the forestry and environmental resources department, is the author of Implementing Innovation: Fostering Enduring Change in Environmental and Natural Resource Governance. The book focuses on case studies of land management in Colorado, watershed management in West Virginia and timber management in New Mexico.

Steelman is co-author of Adaptive Governance: Integrating Science, Policy and Decision Making and Collaborative Environmental Management: What Roles for Government?
