Hughes Retirement Reception Sept. 16

A retirement reception for Ben H. Hughes, executive director of development for the College of Engineering, will be held Friday, Sept. 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the McKimmon Center.

Hughes is celebrating 18 years with the NC State Engineering Foundation and 30 years of state service. He holds a political science degree from Tulane University.

His retirement plans include volunteering with his church, tending to his garden and getting involved with the arts.
