Frey Wins Educator Award

Dr. H. Christopher Frey, a professor in the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, has won a national environmental education award for teaching with “rigor, humor, humility and pride.”

Frey will accept the Lyman A. Ripperton Environmental Educator Award from the Air and Waste Management Association in June. The award, based primarily on students’ achievements, is given annually to an influential educator in an air pollution control field.
