NC State Holds Art2Wear Fashion Show

Eighteen students from North Carolina State University will present their original designs during the Art2Wear fashion show at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 in Reynolds Coliseum.

Art2Wear, which started at the College of Design in 2002 with a hundred spectators, now draws an audience of 4,000 to Reynolds Coliseum. The event is sponsored by the College of Design and College of Textiles, as well as local businesses, individual donors and foundations. Faculty advisers are Vita Plume, associate professor of art and design, Dr. Cynthia L. Istook, professor of textile and apparel technology and management, and Dr. Traci Lamar, associate professor of textile and apparel technology and management.

The event, which is open to the public, has $5 general admission tickets on the upper level and floor-level reserved seating for $15 for bleacher seats and $25 for chair seats. Upper-level tickets are free to university faculty, staff and students with an I.D. For those in wheelchairs, access is available at the side entrance of Reynolds Coliseum facing the Jeter parking lot and ground-level seating will be available.
