Jones Named Distinguished Professor

Sam Jones, professor of equine medicine in the College of Veterinary Medicine, has been named the first recipient of the Herbert Benjamin Distinguished Professorship. Jones is the director of the Comparative Biomedical Sciences Program and the combined D.V.M./Ph.D. program and co-director of the Veterinary Scholars Program. His research focuses on equine gastrointestinal diseases, sepsis and endotoxemia, and infectious and inflammatory diseases.  Read the full article.
