Google Training Offered

Get your head in the cloud. The smart folks in OIT, the Office of Information Technology, offer a course on how to create and collaborate with Google Docs/Drive 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in Room 110 of the Avent Ferry Technology Center.

In this hands-on workshop, a Google trainer (there’s a 21st century job title) from OIT will cover everything you need to know to get started using Google Docs/Drive at NC State. You’ll learn how to edit a file simultaneously with other people, secure a document through file sharing permissions, and create files for use by a group of colleagues or friends.

If you would prefer using you own laptop or other mobile device, feel free to bring it. There is ample WiFi service in the classrooms. For additional information and to register, visit Classmate.
