Campus to ‘Go Red for Women’

NC State is showing its true colors by supporting the American Heart Association’s efforts to combat heart disease, which you may be surprised to learn is the No. 1 killer of women, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined. The association’s Go Red For Women initiative kicks off on Friday, Feb. 7, with National Wear Red Day.

“Here at NC State we always go red,” says Lisa Eberhart, University Dining’s registered dietitian. “But this is a little different.”

Of course, a small difference can make a big impact. Here’s how you can get involved.

Go Red For Women in the Dining Halls
