Exhibit Focuses on Lebanese Immigrants

The first exhibition to commemorate the history of Lebanese immigrants who have made North Carolina their home since the 1880s will open Saturday, Feb. 22, at the N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh. “Cedars in the Pines” was researched and developed by history professor Akram Khater and the Khayrallah Program for Lebanese-American Studies at NC State. It highlights the diverse experiences and contributions of Lebanese Americans in the state. The free exhibit runs through Aug. 31. Read more on the College of Humanities and Social Sciences website.
