Veterinary Medicine Open House Scheduled for March 29

What:
North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) will host an open house to give the public an insider’s view of transformative animal medicine at one of the nation’s top veterinary colleges. The open house features more than 45 exhibits, special demonstrations, and opportunities to get up close with various animals large and small. This year, attendees will be able to tour the Smithsonian Institution’s 1,000 sq. ft. traveling interactive museum exhibit “Animal Connections – Our Journey Together,” as well as speak with CVM research faculty about recent discoveries in regenerative medicine, infectious diseases and genomics. As always, the open house includes attractions for young children.

Saturday, March 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where:
The College of Veterinary Medicine, located at 1060 William Moore Dr., near the corner of Hillsborough St. and Blue Ridge Rd.

Cost:
The event is free and open to the public. Please do not bring pets to the open house and, in keeping with animal health regulations, please do not attend if you have traveled overseas after March 8.
