College of Veterinary Medicine Open House Scheduled for March 29

North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine will host an open house on Saturday, March 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The annual event features more than 45 exhibits, special demonstrations, and opportunities to get up close with various animals large and small. This year, attendees will be able to tour the Smithsonian Institution’s 1,000 sq. ft. traveling interactive museum exhibit “Animal Connections – Our Journey Together,” as well as speak with CVM research faculty about recent discoveries in regenerative medicine, infectious diseases and genomics. As always, the open house includes attractions for young children.

Media are invited to attend a preview of the Smithsonian exhibit on Friday, March 28, as well as the Saturday open house. Media parking will be available in the lot in front of the Terry Center or at the loading dock behind the Terry Center.
