Open Up for Manufacturing Day

Manufacturing Day isn’t just for manufacturers. NC State labs, centers, departments and programs are encouraged to open their doors on Friday, Oct. 3, to show the American public how every sector of the economy depends on advanced manufacturing technologies like those developed at the university.

To participate in Manufacturing Day, register online.

Last year, the Laboratory for Additive Manufacturing and Logistics, the College of Textiles, the Constructed Facilities Laboratory,  the Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center and the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative were just a few of the campus organizations that hosted events or tables.

At NC State, advanced manufacturing technologies begin with world-class science and technology education and environments that encourage innovation and collaboration. For more information about Manufacturing Day, visit http://www.mfgday.com/
