Gardner Award Nominations Open

NC State is accepting nominations for the O. Max Gardner Award through Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The award, given annually by the University of North Carolina Board of Governors since 1949, is awarded to a member of the faculty at a UNC campus who “has made the greatest contribution to the welfare of the human race” in the current or recent years. It is the only award for which all faculty members of the 17 UNC campuses are eligible.

Recipients are nominated by their chancellors.
