Red Means Madness at Bookstores Sale

Now that your credit card has had a full 48 hours to recover from the spending gauntlet of #BlackFriday, #SmallBusinessSaturday, #CyberMonday and #GivingTuesday, the NC State Bookstores is ready to tempt you again with its Finals Madness Sale, with 40 percent off most of its merchandise on Friday.

The popular end-of-semester sale, which coincides with the holiday buying frenzy, will take place at two on-campus locations, the main bookstore on the first floor of Harrelson Hall from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and at the Pack Shop at Wolf Ridge on Centennial Campus from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

From noon until 2 p.m. at Harrelson, three authors with NC State ties will be on hand to autograph their regionally oriented works, headlined by English professor Walt Wolfram, with his highly acclaimed work Talkin’ Tar Heel: How Our Voices Tell the Story of North Carolina.

Also on hand will be award-winning nature photographer Robb Helfrick with his book North Carolina Unforgettable and university writer/editor Tim Peeler, NC State’s unofficial historian, with three books about Wolfpack basketball. Also available will be presigned copies of Wolfpack Cooking by former NC State All-American football player and radio voice of the Pack Johnny Evans.

The day-long sale is open to the campus community.
