Acting U.S. Surgeon General To Speak About Preventing Underage Drinking at NC State's Millennium Seminar Series

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rear Admiral Kenneth P. Moritsugu, M.D., M.P.H., acting U.S. Surgeon General, will speak at North Carolina State University's Millennium Seminar Series with a presentation to students, faculty, staff and the general public at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, in Stewart Theater on campus. Media coverage is invited. His remarks will focus on "Three Guides to Action for Underage Drinking," based on the call to action he issued in May.

The seminar is free and open to the public. Public parking is available in the parking deck located at the corner of Cates Avenue and Jeter Drive. Turn onto Pullen Road from either Hillsborough Street or Western Blvd. Turn onto Dunn Ave and take the second left turn onto Jeter Drive, and the next left into the Coliseum Parking Deck. Stewart Theater is on the second floor of the Talley Student Center west of the Coliseum Deck.
