Students from North Carolina State University's College of Design will get into the Halloween spirit by expressing their creativity during the college's annual pumpkin carving contest at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at Kamphoefner Courtyard, which is located behind Brooks Hall off Pullen Road on the NC State campus.
Media coverage of the pumpkin carving contest is invited.
The jack-o'-lanterns will be on display at the College of Design following the contest Friday night and again from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday during the annual student Halloween Bash, which will be held outside Kamphoefner Hall.
The carving contest is free and open to the public. The event is hosted by the student-run NC State University Design Council.
