NC State Hosts International Education Week Nov. 12-16

North Carolina State University will hold its eighth annual International Education Week from Nov. 12-16. Events designed to highlight the importance of international and cross-cultural education will be held across campus throughout the week.

Some of the events planned at NC State for the week include:

  • Fourth Annual Passport Fair: Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Caldwell Lounge. The Committee on International Programs will hold on-site enrollment and processing including passport photo taking for $5. Travel safety information will also be provided.
  • Speak Truth to Power Photo Exhibit: Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the African American Cultural Center Gallery. The event is in celebration of the United Nations Human Rights Day. Chancellor James Oblinger will sign a Human Rights Proclamation at 4 p.m.
  • International Tea/Coffee: Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 1-3 p.m. in Caldwell Lounge featuring international desserts and drinks. Sponsored by the Office of International Services and international student organizations.
  • Study Abroad Office Open House: Thursday, Nov. 15, from 1-4 p.m. on the third floor of the First Year College Building.
  • Peace Corps Informational Session: Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5-7 p.m. in 218 Daniels Hall.
