Preview: Annual 'Art to Wear' Fashion Show to be Held April 26
Events at NC State University -- for use by the media as calendar-of-events items or for information

Students from two North Carolina State University colleges will present their sixth annual fashion show, “Collection: Art to Wear 2007.” Some of the 15 student designers are members of the Anni Albers program – a dual-degree program in design and textile and apparel technology.
This year’s collection will feature themes ranging from the Jackie Kennedy “pillbox” era to LED-lighted “space fashions,” and at least one wedding gown. Students from the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill will provide hair and makeup for some of the models. |

The event is sponsored by the College of Design and the College of Textiles. Faculty advisors are Vita Plume, assistant professor of art and design, and Dr. Cynthia Istook, associate professor of textile and apparel technology and management. |

The Court of North Carolina, which is located behind Poe Hall off of Stinson Drive. Parking is available in the Coliseum Parking Deck. |
