21st Annual NC State “Take Back the Night” March is Oct. 28

What: More than 500 participants are expected to take part in North Carolina State University’s 21st annual “Take Back the Night” march and rally. The annual event raises awareness about rape and sexual assault, and features speakers, entertainment and a candlelight vigil.

Who: Sponsored by the NC State Women’s Center
When: Tuesday, Oct. 28. The march begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by the rally at 7 p.m.

Where:Marches will start from three locations: the West Amphitheatre located behind Bragaw Hall on Dan Allen Dr.; the Berry-Becton-Bagwell Quad located on Pullen and Dunn Ave.; and Greek Village, located on Dan Allen Dr. and Fraternity Dr. Parking is available in the Coliseum Deck on Cates Ave.

The Take Back The Night rally location is on the North Plaza behind Talley Student Center, on Cates Avenue. (rain site: Witherspoon Cinema in Witherspoon Student Center on Dan Allen Dr. and Cates Ave.).
