NC State Holds 8th Annual “Art to Wear” Fashion Show

What: Fifteen students from North Carolina State University will present their original designs during the 2009 Collection: “Art to Wear” fashion show.

Who: The event is sponsored by NC State’s College of Design and College of Textiles. Faculty advisors are Jan-Ru Wan, assistant professor of art and design, and Dr. Cynthia L. Istook, associate professor of textile and apparel technology and management. “Art to Wear” is also supported by local businesses, individual donors and foundations.

When: Thursday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Reynolds Coliseum on NC State’s campus. Parking is available in the Coliseum Parking Deck. If you need accessibility parking, please e-mail ncsuarttowear@gmail.com.

Cost: The event is free and open to the public for general admission. However, floor-reserved seating is available in advance at minimum donations of $10. Individuals may reserve up to eight tickets per person. Tickets will be on sale beginning March 27 at www.ncsuarttowear.com or by e-mailing algray@ncsu.edu.
