Crayton Profiles Autism Advocate

Cherry Crayton, assistant editor with Alumni Affairs, won a bronze award in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s national competition for Best Articles of the Year.

“A Father’s Pursuit” profiles alum Chuck Gardner, whose son Chas, now 16, is autistic. Gardner helped found the Medical Investigation into Neurological Disorders Institute on the University of California-Davis campus, dedicated to finding a cure for autism and other neurological disorders.
