Memorial for Curran April 16

A campus memorial service for Debra Curran, undergraduate coordinator in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, will be held Friday, April 16, at 3 p.m. in the 1911 Building atrium.

Curran died April 2. She had undergone a liver transplant on March 17.

Curran worked for the department for nearly a decade and was much beloved by faculty, students and staff.  She was buried in her hometown, Clearwater, Fla., on April 8.

Curran is survived by her husband, Charles Tittle, professor of sociology and Goodnight-GlaxoWellcome Chair in Social Sciences. Condolences may be sent to him at campus box 8107.  The family requests that memorials be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
