Venture Center Wins TOBY

The Venture Center complex on Centennial Campus has received The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award for 2011 from the Southern Region of the Building Owners and Managers Association. The complex won in the suburban low rise office park category.

The TOBY Awards recognize quality in office buildings and excellence in office building management. Buildings are judged across several categories, including physical presentation of the building, tenant relations, energy conservation, community impact, training of building personnel, emergency preparedness and security, and environmental and regulatory affairs.

The building will now compete in the international TOBY awards this summer. The complex previously won a local TOBY Award from the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the organization.

The 474,321-square-foot  Class A office complex is managed by Portfolio Property Management Global, LLC, on behalf of the building’s owner, MayfieldGentry Realty Advisors. Suzanne Kempf is the general property manager.
