College of Textiles Welcomes Prospective Students at Annual Open House

What: High school students, parents, teachers and the general public are invited to learn more about the new world of textiles by attending the annual open house at North Carolina State University’s College of Textiles.

The open house will showcase advances in fashion design and production, brand management and marketing, fabric design, polymer and color science, textiles in forensics, product engineering, information systems engineering, medical textiles, nanotechnology, technical textiles, supply chain management and many other fields. Visitors can learn about scholarship opportunities, the admissions process and summer programs, as well as visit NC State’s brand-new Hunt Library across the street from the College of Textiles.

Who: NC State’s College of Textiles

When: Saturday, Feb. 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: College of Textiles building at 1000 Main Campus Drive on NC State’s Centennial Campus.

Cost: The open house is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required.
