CED Career Clubs Nab NSF Grant

NC State’s Career Clubs will give students in four high poverty school districts a hands-on introduction to careers in science, technology, engineering and math. The clubs, funded with a $1.2 million grant from the National Science Foundation, will get middle school students involved in projects. Team members are education faculty members Meg Blanchard, DeLeon Gray, Braska Williams, Andy Overstreet and Cameron Denson, along with Jason Painter of the Science House and advisory board member Karen Keene.
