Reaffirmation of NC State’s SACSCOC Accreditation Through 2034

NC State community:

I am pleased to share that NC State has officially received reaffirmation of accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) through 2034. The decision by SACSCOC’s Board of Trustees to reaffirm our accreditation for another 10 years was also accompanied by a final report that contained no findings, recommendations or third-party comments. To have our accreditation reaffirmed for the next decade with no areas of concern is a reflection of the quality of an NC State degree and our commitment to student success.

I want to give special thanks to Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Warwick Arden and Vice Provost for Assessment and Accreditation Fashaad Crawford for their outstanding leadership throughout the reaffirmation process. I also want to thank the many faculty, staff and students who participated in the reaffirmation process by contributing evidence, writing narratives or participating in site visits. We are all stronger thanks to the work you and other members of the NC State community do every day.
