Resources and Reminders Regarding Federally Funded Research and Programs

Chancellor Randy Woodson shares the university’s new central landing page for updates and resources on federal actions.

NC State community,

The university continues to work to understand the impacts of recent executive orders and guidance issued by the U.S. government to federal agencies and departments. Although there is no shortage of news on these topics, I want to reassure you that we remain focused on directives that specifically impact NC State.

To help answer your questions, we’ve created a university landing page that collects the latest updates, information and resources for our community.

While we continue to monitor updates from federal officials and sponsors, it’s essential for our students and scholars to continue their work. Principal investigators should ensure that work continues on their projects unless they receive an order or communication from a federal sponsor or from the university to stop work.

Please remain in contact with the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) and notify the office if you receive a stop-work order or any other kind of directive or guidance directly from a sponsoring federal agency. ORI will continue updating its resource page for research-specific information and updates.

The work we’re doing is important, and we remain committed to being a good steward and partner in research with the federal government. Together, our government and research institutions can continue driving the country forward in innovation, discovery, economic investment and, ultimately, an improved quality of life for our country.

Thank you for your continued work in service to our university, our state and our nation.
