Finish Your Semester Strong
Vice Chancellor and Dean Doneka Scott shares a message with students highlighting the campus resources available as the academic year draws to a close.
Dear students,
As this semester draws to a close, I congratulate you on your hard work and commitment, and I wish you the best as you finish out the academic year.
No matter how you’re spending these final weeks — wrapping up academic work, juggling jobs and other responsibilities or tying up loose ends — remember that your Wolfpack community is here to support you.
NC State has many services available as you navigate the last couple of weeks of the semester. The D.H. Hill Jr. and James B. Hunt Jr. libraries will operate on a 24-hour basis April 22-29; the Academic Success Center offers support services and has resources to assist with studying techniques and stress management; our Wolfpack Wellness website has information about programs and services to foster both your physical and mental health; and, as always, our Division of Academic and Student Affairs stands ready to help connect you to any resources that you need to achieve your best.
The end of an academic year offers a time to reflect on your growth and celebrate the progress you’ve made as we continue to Think and Do together as a community. Take a moment to acknowledge your achievements and reconnect with what keeps you grounded.
Let’s finish strong, Wolfpack.
Dr. Doneka R. Scott
