The Fall Class of 2025, by the Numbers
More than 3,300 students will turn their tassels at NC State's fall commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, North Carolina State University will welcome 3,384 graduates to the ranks of its alumni at its fall commencement ceremony. The event begins at 9 a.m. in the Lenovo Center. NC State will confer 3,498 degrees at the ceremony, including 2,104 bachelor’s, 985 master’s, 369 doctoral and 40 associate degrees. Many of the 3,384 graduates will receive multiple degrees.

This semester’s graduating class represents 55 countries and 37 states. The class includes 688 first-generation students, 86 veterans and 417 international students. More than 1,000 graduates will receive their degrees with honors, including 415 summa cum laude, 333 magna cum laude and 336 cum laude. The class also includes five Caldwell Fellows, five Park Scholars, 25 Goodnight Scholars, 65 University Scholars and 51 University Honors students.
Stanhope Kelly, economic leader and NC State alumnus, will deliver the commencement address. Urwa Rashid, a transfer student and Eagle Scout who is graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, will also share remarks to her fellow graduates.
