Two Join Confucius Institute Council

Anna Lamm, coordinator in the Office of International Affairs, and Xiaoying Wang, professor from Nanjing Normal University (NNU) in China, will serve on the Confucius Institute council. Their appointments were announced during a council meeting at NNU in May. Leaders developed a work plan for the year and discussed ways of expanding collaboration and exchange between the two universities.

The Confucius Institute sponsors programs in Chinese language and culture in a  partnership between NC State, NNU and the Office of Chinese Language Council International under the Chinese Ministry of Education.
