Drill Tests Responders

Shots rang out on campus Friday, sending first responders into action. The event, staged to test NC State’s ability to handle a real emergency, was just a drill. But it seemed real enough to observers, including camera crews from local media outlets. Student volunteers performed the roles of shooters, victims and bystanders.
