State University STEM Early College High students Hamza Baloch, Vincent Bland, Brian Cambra and Trey Cornish placed second in North Carolina for their eCYBERMISSION project. Their topic involved the use of solar panels as an alternative energy source for automobile transportation. In the web-based science, technology, engineering and mathematics competition, teams propose a solution to a real problem in the community and compete for regional and national awards.
