Pack the Senate

Nominations are now open for positions on the Staff Senate. You can nominate a colleague or even yourself online, but don’t delay too long. The deadline is noon Friday, Feb. 22.

Nominees must be full time (FTE of .75 or more), permanent employees with at least 12 months of continuous service in a permanent position with the university prior to being nominated.

The Staff Senate was created in 1995 to provide SPA staff with a greater voice in the policy making and governance of the university. In 2006, the Staff Senate expanded its representation to include certain non-faculty EPA employees and now represents more than 5,000 NC State employees, both on and off campus, in 19 districts.
