Hill Honored
Assistant Professor of Architecture David Hill has won the Vernon F. Shogren award, which honors the memory of Professor Vernon Shogren, who taught architecture at NC state from 1953 to 1955 and 1961 to 1992. Awards are available for students, faculty and alumni to encourage exploration of alternative directions in design and architecture and to promote unique study and scholarship. Hill received his master’s in architecture from Harvard University and his bachelor of architecture and bachelor of environmental design in architecture degrees from NC State. Hill also is the director of graduate programs for the School of Architecture.
