NC State Holds Arbor Day Celebration and Open House

What: North Carolina State University will host an Arbor Day Celebration and Open House that includes a plant adoption center, tree seedling giveaways, tree plantings, and “Ask a Forester” sessions. Presentations from faculty and graduate students will highlight the many ways trees help us protect the environment, and how to return the favor through sustainable management.

Who: The event is sponsored by NC State’s Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources.

When: Saturday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Jordan Hall on NC State’s campus – located at the intersection of Western Boulevard and Morrill Drive. Parking is available on both sides of Morrill Drive, in front of Jordan Hall on Faucette Drive, as well as in the parking lot behind Jordan Hall.

Cost: The event is free and open to the public.
