NC State Holds 9th Annual “Art to Wear” Fashion Show

What: Twelve students from North Carolina State University will present their original designs during the 2010 Collection: “Art to Wear” fashion show.

Who: The event is sponsored by NC State’s College of Design and College of Textiles. Faculty advisors are Vita Plume, associate professor of art and design, Dr. Katherine Carroll, assistant professor of textile and apparel technology management, and Dr. Cynthia L. Istook, associate professor of textile and apparel technology and management. “Art to Wear” is also supported by local businesses, individual donors and foundations.

When: Wednesday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Reynolds Coliseum on NC State’s campus. Parking is available in the Coliseum Parking Deck. If you need accessibility parking, please e-mail ncsuarttowear@gmail.com.

Cost: The event is free and open to the public for general admission. However, floor-reserved seating is available in advance at minimum donations of $20. Individuals may reserve up to eight tickets per person. Tickets will be on sale beginning the last week of March at www.ncsuarttowear.com or by e-mailing ncsuarttowear@gmail.com.
