Quality Society Recognizes Godfrey
Dr. A. Blanton Godfrey, dean of the College of Textiles, received the Distinguished Service Medal from the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
The medal, the organization’s highest award, recognizes a distinguished career of contributions to the quality profession.
It is given to honor individuals who have established broad quality improvement initiatives in health care, education and industry, as well as for personally demonstrating exemplary quality practice internationally by blending statistical and managerial quality methods.
