Kenan Fellows Program Recognized

The Kenan Fellows Program for curriculum and leadership development received the Partnership Award in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education from the Science, Mathematics and Technology Education Center. This award recognizes a North Carolina organization whose innovative partnership supports the advancement of science, mathematics and technology education.

The Kenan Fellows Program is a competitive fellowship offered to K-12 public school teachers across disciplines. It taps into the wealth of statewide university and corporate experts to provide research experiences for teachers. Fellows partner with scientists to learn about important developments and gain an understanding of current research practice for students.

The Kenan Fellows Program is an initiative of the Kenan Institute for Engineering, Technology and Science on Centennial Campus.
