Fuentes to Head Statistics

Dr. Montserrat “Montse” Fuentes has been named head of the Department of Statistics effective July 1. She replaces Sastry Pantula, who has been named director of the National Science Foundation’s Division of Mathematical Sciences in the Mathematical and Physical Sciences Directorate.
