Poetry Out Loud
Listen to the winners of the 2011 NC State poetry contest read their works on the NCSU Libraries website.
The contest, sponsored by the creative writing program, received nearly 500 submissions this year from every corner of the state and from more than 20 college writing programs. The poems were judged by noted poet Thomas Lux, a former Guggenheim fellow and winner of multiple grants from the National Endowment for the Arts who holds the Bourne chair in poetry at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
