Learn Online Survey Software

If you’re interested in learning to create online surveys, sign up for a software seminar with an expert.

University Planning and Analysis will host a session on Qualtrics software for NC State faculty, staff and students from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 in D.H. Hill Library’s Erdahl-Cloyd Theatre. Seating is limited and preregistration is required. Register online by noon on Thursday, Feb. 23.

Qualtrics is used to create and administer Web-based surveys, conduct statistical analyses and prepare customized reports on results. Faculty, staff and students can use the software free of charge thanks to UPA, which purchased a license for university-wide use.

During the seminar, Bryce Winkelman, director of the academic division at Qualtrics, will demonstrate how to set up an account, design and distribute surveys, generate reports and download data. No previous experience with Qualtrics is necessary to attend.

For more information on Qualtrics, visit the UPA website or contact Kate Christenbury, survey research coordinator, at kate_christenbury@ncsu.edu or 515-6438.
