Libraries Seek Faculty Nominations

The NCSU Libraries is seeking nominations for its 24th annual Libraries Faculty Award, which is given to an NC State faculty member who has contributed consistently and notably to the accomplishment of the libraries’ mission, vision and strategic initiatives. The award, established in commemoration of the libraries’ centennial year in 1989, enables the libraries to recognize faculty contributions.

Any NC State faculty member, except former recipients and library faculty, is eligible to be nominated for this award. The deadline for nominations is Sept. 1. The nomination form is online at  http://lib.ncsu.edu/aboutthelibraries/facultyaward.

The award includes honorary life membership in the Friends of the Library, the winner’s name engraved on an NCSU Libraries Faculty Award plaque and a special recognition certificate. The Friends of the Library will present the award at its fall luncheon. This award is made possible by funding from the Friends of the Library.
