Belltower Marks Special Occasions
The start of a new semester and fall sports season means main campus will be awash in red more often as the Belltower is illuminated to recognize special occasions.
Since its completion in 1937, the 115-foot monument has stood as a symbol of identity for NC State and a rallying point for the university community. Initially built to honor NC State alumni killed in World War I, the tower has been illuminated over the years to recognize a variety of academic and athletic achievements.
For more information, and for a complete list of celebration guidelines, visit the Belltower website.
