Hone Your Woodworking Skills

Bored? Stressed out? Then take your mind off things by building yourself (or a friend) a cyma curved wood shelf at the NC State Crafts Center. The six-weekend course starts on Saturday, Sept. 22, and teaches students to make a hanging shelf reminiscent of early 19th century provincial furnishings. These shelves have graceful sides and four varying width shelves making them perfect for smaller trinkets.
