Celebrate Diversity Education and National Coming Out Day

Mark your calendars: Thursday, Oct. 11 is National Coming Out Day and the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity (OIED) asks we show our community spirit and support by stopping by the Brickyard between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for some celebratory “I Love Diversity T-shirts.” OIED also celebrates Diversity Education Week from Oct. 15 to 19. Events include a human rights awareness fair, a rally against student harassment and ”Selma to Montgomery,” a photography exhibit on civil rights. Read more.
