New Leadership at the SEANC

Art Anthony was elected first vice president of the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC), SEIU Local 2008 at the association’s annual convention in Greensboro. His one-year term began Oct. 1. SEANC is an advocacy organization for active and retired state employees headquartered in Raleigh.

Anthony is a research specialist at NC State with 21 years of state service and SEANC membership and a Shaw University alumnus. He previously served as SEANC south central region representative to the executive committee and District 39 chairman.

SEANC, SEIU Local 2008 is the South’s leading state employees’ association 55,000 members strong.
