Engineering Professor Honored by EPA

Joel Ducoste has been appointed by the Environmental Protection Agency to become administrator to the EPA’s Science Advisory Board (SAB). Ducoste, a professor in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, is an expert in modeling water and wastewater treatment.

Ducoste has also been reappointed to a second three-year term on the SAB’s Drinking Water Committee. The SAB provides independent advice and peer review to the EPA’s administrator on the scientific and technical aspects of environmental issues. Read more.
