Free Medication Drop Off

Bring your expired or unused medicine to the Medication Drop-off, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, behind the Student Health Center.

The focus of this event is to reduce eco-toxicity caused by flushing medicines down the toilet or putting them in the trash, to prevent accidental child poisoning, and to remove the temptation for people to experiment with prescription drugs. Labels should be left on bottles for drug identification purposes, but they will be removed at the site to protect your privacy.

The event is sponsored by Student Health Services and University Police as part of the Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Take Back Initiative to encourage everyone to remove expired and unused medications from their home.
