Which Charity Will You Choose?

It’s time for NC State’s annual burst of generosity in the State Employees Combined Campaign. The campaign got a marketing makeover here on campus a few years ago, so it’s now known as the “Wolfpack Gives Back” campaign at NC State.

The cool part about the campaign is that you get the chance to peruse a list of more than 1,000 charities to decide which one(s) to support.

Here’s how you can jump on the bandwagon and join the Wolfpack Gives Back campaign: Go to the campaign website, check out the charities, and then follow the directions to make a one-time donation or to set up an automatic payroll deduction. Weekly prizes are going to be given during the campaign, so don’t procrastinate.

This year’s goal is to raise at least $625,000 with at least 42 percent of employees giving.

By the way, only payroll deduction and credit card options are available online. If you want to pledge by cash or check, you must complete a paper form and submit your form and contribution to your team captain.
