Open House Oct. 19

Prospective students get a warm welcome 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the university’s official open house. The event includes tours of the new Hunt Library, entertainment on the Brickyard and lots of information about majors, admissions, housing, dining, the arts and athletics.

It’s OK if you’re not a future undergrad. Alumni and their families, as well as school counselors and teachers are encouraged to attend.

Activities include:

  • Admissions information sessions
  • Academic information sessions for specific interests and majors
  • Entertainment and student organization tables on the Brickyard
  • University information tables in Carmichael Gym
  • Tours of D.H. Hill Library and Hunt Library
  • Dining available in all campus dining locations
  • Visits to residence halls and the NC State bookstore
  • Explore the new Talley Student Union

Preferred parking locations are the Coliseum, Dan Allen, Monteith, Oval West, and Partners Way decks.
