Essay Collection Honored

“Solving Problems in Technical Communication” won the Technical and Scientific Communication Award for best original collection of essays from the Conference on College Composition and Communication. The book includes essays by three NC State faculty members: Stan Dicks and Jason Swarts, associate professors of English, and Brad Mehlenbacher, associate professor of leadership policy and adult and higher education. The award will be presented at the organization’s annual convention in Indianapolis next month.

Since 1949, the CCCC has been the world’s largest professional organization for researching and teaching composition, from writing to new media.
